Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Governance and Executive Services team at National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Board of Directors, executives, and other key stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation of governance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and coordinating quarterly Board meetings, committee meetings, and other governance events
  • Prepare and distribute meeting materials, including agendas, minutes, and supporting documents
  • Record and maintain accurate minutes of Board meetings, including action items and decisions
  • Manage Board member expense reports and submit invoices for reimbursement
  • Support the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Manager of Governance and Executive Services, as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in a non-profit or governance setting
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
