Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Carle Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients of all ages, providing clinical guidance to staff and students, and serving as a role model in the delivery of professional services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and integrate patient information from various sources to develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
  • Administer evaluation procedures to assess patient needs and develop a plan of care with measurable goals.
  • Collaborate with patients and relevant others to develop a treatment plan and implement interventions to improve functional and emotional needs.
  • Evaluate and implement intervention plans, modifying approach as needed to ensure patient progress.
  • Utilize standardized outcomes measures and instrumental evaluations to ensure accurate reflection of patient performance.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with the medical team to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Illinois and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
