Position Overview
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with the mission and vision of the pharmacy department, encompassing all facets of pharmacy practice relevant to your specific duties. The Clinical Pharmacist is accountable for patient outcomes and must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. You will represent Avera McKennan positively to all patients and colleagues, exhibiting enthusiasm and integrity. Adaptability to change and effective teamwork are essential. You will coordinate workflow with team members to foster a productive environment and may mentor students and residents as assigned. Oversight of technical staff may also be part of your responsibilities, along with participation in organizational committees.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree is preferred.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist in South Dakota.
- Board Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is preferred (refer to staff development plan for specific requirements).
