About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist - Mechanical Systems to join our team at Globalstar. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality standards for mechanical systems, including Servo Control Units, SSPBs, radomes, and extensive cabling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards for a global organization.
  • Audit manufacturing and field installation processes to provide necessary controls and visibility.
  • Establish quality and reliability standards by studying project requirements with all stakeholders, conferring, and negotiating with suppliers, SMEs, and devising testing methods and procedures.
  • Implement in-process inspection standards by studying design and manufacturing methods and devising testing methods and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all project-related regulatory and government requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in quality assurance (or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of quality system requirements with expert knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Standard.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements and legal standards.
