Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Oaks at Byron Center. As a RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, advocating for our residents' needs, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for each resident, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
  • Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement plans to address these changes.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies in long-term care.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
