Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Domino's Franchise. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership support to the Manager on Duty (MOD) and maintain high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with management and team members, and greet customers in person or via phone and take orders professionally and promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat customers, and help support shift management.
  • Oversee pre-close functions, ensure service and food quality standards are maintained, and process daily reports.
  • Adhere to all waste tracking procedures, follow all food and labor cost best practices, and master Point of Sale (POS) computer systems for automated order taking.
  • Handle currency and credit transactions quickly and accurately, and follow procedures for safe food preparation, assembly, and presentation.
  • Assist management with inventory control and stock ordering, and build loyal customers through friendly interactions and consistent appreciation.
  • Resolve complaints promptly and professionally, and cross-train and coordinate scheduling with team members to ensure seamless service.
  • Take initiative to find extra tasks when scheduled duties are complete, and assemble and fold boxes, affix labels, and prepare a variety of pizzas and other menu items.
  • Clean, stock, and restock work stations and display cases, transfer supplies and tools between storage and work areas, and pack, weigh, and label products as required.
  • Ensure supervisor is aware of food shortages, and adhere to all quality standards, principles, guidelines, and policies.
Company Wide Responsibilities
  • Promote company policies and advocate for Team Washington.
  • Assure proper attendance and actions, and provide and receive positive feedback and/or constructive criticism.
  • Maintain good communication with co-workers, serve as a resource for co-workers, and cross-train, learn how role interacts with other departments.
  • Work with manager and management to solve problems, providing suggestions as needed, and maintain clean and organized work area, taking ownership of surroundings.
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality in information.
Requirements
  • Ability to pass applicable Company background checks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as needed in interactions with management, and customers, take and process orders.
  • Superb ability to multi-task, ability to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and ability to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, ability to take orders over the counter or phone, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator), and must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Ability to lead the team on duty.
