Plant Biologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biologist to join our team at Actalent. As a Plant Biologist, you will be responsible for conducting research and experiments in controlled environments, such as greenhouses or growth chambers. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Plant Biology, Horticulture, or a related field, with practical research experience.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate and maintain crops in controlled environments
- Conduct phenotyping and material sampling for lab assays
- Assist with hybrid seed production through plant pollination
- Bachelor's degree in Plant Biology, Horticulture, or a related field
- Proven experience with plant research in controlled settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and basic statistical analysis
