Plant Biologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biologist to join our team at HarveStaff. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with plants in controlled environments, such as greenhouses or growth chambers. A degree in Plant Biology, Horticulture, or a related field is required, along with practical research experience.
Key Responsibilities- Grow, care, and phenotype crops in a controlled environment on a daily basis
- Conduct plant pollination for hybrid seed production following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately and ensure compliance
- Sample plant materials for laboratory assays
- Assist in experimental design, data analysis, interpret experimental data, and present findings effectively
- Proven experience with plant research in controlled settings, including hybrid seed production
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Motivation to work independently and as part of a team to achieve results
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and basic statistical analysis
Bachelor's degree in Plant Biology, Horticulture, or a related field
