Job Title: Director - Land Development (Multi-family, Residential, Master Planned - PE licensed required)

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Land Development to join our team at BGE, Inc. in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of civil engineers and designers to develop plans and specifications for multi-family, residential, master planned, mixed-use, and commercial projects.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure the team's technical expertise and capacity to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the company's presence in the land development market.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the company's compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas.
  • At least 15 years of experience in land development, with a strong background in civil engineering and project management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of land development, including zoning, land use, and environmental regulations.
