Position Overview
This role is primarily field-based, and the ideal candidate will be located in the Greater St. Louis, MO or Springfield, MO area. When not in the field, work will be conducted from a home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong estimating skills to create or review damage estimates for both first and third-party material damage claims across various severities.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of all policy types offered by the company.
- Negotiate settlements, process payments, and maintain thorough documentation for complex claims across multiple lines of insurance.
- Assess settlement options by ensuring compliance with regulations and fair claims practices, making informed decisions on the best course of action.
- Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across various lines of business.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not include supervisory duties.
