Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in overseeing a 2-shift workforce of 120+ employees
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and facility safety guidelines
  • Manage the production schedule and daily workflow without compromising safety or integrity or quality
  • Develop and implement new procedures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Communicate and work effectively with other department heads to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Implement safety measures for accident prevention and ensure employee safety compliance
  • Be influential in employee hiring, training, development, and management
  • Complete and maintain all required record keeping, data, and paperwork
  • Apply disciplinary actions as required, adhering to CBA and company policy
  • Investigate and respond to employee complaints or concerns
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College Degree preferred
  • 5 years of management experience
  • 3 years' experience leading a team in a production environment
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Computer software skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees
  • Able to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently
Physical Demands:
  • Able to stand and walk for long hours at a time
  • Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs, carry up to 25 lbs, and move up to 25 lbs
  • Exposure to reasonable noise level, changes in temperature, odors, humidity, lint, and dust
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time
