Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Boston, MA. As a key member of our electrical department, you will be responsible for executing electrical designs for various project phases, including schematic design, design development, and construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute electrical designs in accordance with departmental procedures and client standards.
  • Utilize Revit to model electrical system components and systems.
  • Develop a strong understanding of electrical gear and space layout, branch circuit sizing, and lighting layout and circuitry.
  • Prepare backup documentation, including load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and lighting power density.
  • Perform site investigation surveys and interim and final punch list reviews.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology.
  • PE license preferred.
  • LEED Accreditation a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience designing electrical systems in the MEP Building Design Industry.
  • Strong understanding of the NEC, IBC, and IECC.
  • SKM, AGI 32, and AMPCALC 4 desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Autodesk Revit building information modeling software.
  • SKM or equivalent analysis software for short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analysis.
