Position: Maintenance Multi-Techs – All Shifts

Are you equipped with a diverse maintenance skill set, capable of working autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative environment? Our Multi-Techs are expected to possess proficiency across various maintenance disciplines.

These professionals engage in diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting of equipment and systems, executing upgrades and repairs to enhance the performance, reliability, and safety of all machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble equipment, replace defective components, and reassemble without oversight.
  • Utilize electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and blueprints for diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, or installation of systems.
  • Employ an electronic Work Order system to plan, execute, and document detailed corrective measures.
  • Identify and implement upgrades, enhancements, or substitute parts and components.
  • Conduct basic plumbing repairs and installations.
  • Perform repairs and fabrications using lathes, milling machines, saws, and drill presses.
  • Execute quality welding repairs using MIG, TIG, and stick welding equipment.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of ladder logic and proficiency in writing PLC logic programs.
  • Troubleshoot and configure Ethernet/IP systems.
  • Utilize advanced testing and diagnostic tools to resolve issues with complex equipment.
  • Design, fabricate, and install electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Train colleagues on the operation of new and existing equipment to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to complex procedures, perform preventative maintenance, and identify hidden defects for correction.
  • Document root causes of failures and recurring issues for future reference.
  • Conduct mathematical calculations to assist in the fabrication and evaluation of equipment performance.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent; technical education or degree in advanced electronics and PLC programming is preferred.
  • The ability to independently troubleshoot Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical equipment using schematics and diagrams.
  • Skills in reading and writing PLC ladder logic programs.
  • Knowledge of computer and network systems.
  • A commitment to further education in maintenance functions relevant to the industry.
  • Basic plumbing knowledge.
  • A willingness to train both operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Strong communication skills with Maintenance and Operations Leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and the ability to learn various company-specific programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on detailed documentation of all work performed.
  • Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Knowledge and ability to achieve certification in Lock Out Tag Out, Power Industrial Trucks (PIT), and NFPA 70E Arc Flash.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

While performing the essential functions of this role, the employee must be capable of standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs., with shared weight up to 100 lbs.
