JOB SUMMARY

Position: Support Specialist Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Support Specialist Electrician to contribute to our operations, focusing on diagnosing, assembling, testing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts troubleshooting, assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems utilizing essential tools to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Acquires knowledge of safety protocols for working with electricity and other energy sources in an industrial context.
  • Executes tasks in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications, employing various tools and measuring instruments.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and equipment maintenance.
  • Adheres to relevant codes and standards for the maintenance, installation, and operation of electrical systems.
  • Actively engages with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to enhance quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
  • Committed to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, promptly reporting any work-related incidents or hazards.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with experience, along with a range of benefits that may include a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, and additional personal and professional benefits.

Qualifications:

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
  • Licensing may be required for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills gained through education, training, or practical experience.
  • Proficient in PLC troubleshooting, with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and utilize logic for equipment diagnostics.
  • Capable of working at heights, operating forklifts, and using hoists and cranes.
  • A strong background in industrial or manufacturing settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, CNC Controls, Servos, Spindles, and Microns (ultra-precision) is advantageous.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus.
