Job Title: Parts Counter Sales

The Parts Counter Sales Representative plays a crucial role in selling commercial vehicle and equipment parts to customers. This position requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell commercial vehicle and equipment parts to customers over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
  • Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
  • Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
  • Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
  • Keep current on new products and product updates.
  • Participate in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of truck or automotive parts experience required.
  • Ability to successfully handle a high volume of phone and retail customers.
  • Computer skills to use Fusion, CRM, email, some Microsoft word and excel.
  • Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Bi-lingual, Heavy Duty Experience and International experience are pluses.
