Now Hiring Van Operators

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a designated route, serving as a regular, substitute, or charter driver.

• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle using Zonar technology, including child safety checks.

• Assist students during the loading and unloading phases.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students.

• Participate in all safety and training sessions.

• Conduct emergency evacuations from the vehicle, including using the emergency exit.

• Open and close service doors and navigate steps multiple times throughout the day.

• Maintain cleanliness inside the vehicle, including sweeping, dusting, and window cleaning. Additionally, clean the exterior windows of the vehicle.

• Perform other specialized tasks as required by contractual obligations.

Required Education & Certifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a CDL Operator's license with necessary endorsements for the respective state or province.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work early morning shifts.

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

• Proficient in reading and understanding street signs, route sheets, and maps.
