**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Spare Time Entertainment. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all items on the cleaning checklist to prepare the facility for guests.
  • Ensure the building is secure and free from hazards.
  • Sweep and mop floors, strip and wax floors as needed, and vacuum and shampoo carpets.
  • Remove litter and sweep parking lots periodically, and wash windows, entry doors, and other surrounding surfaces.
  • Clean and restock restrooms, refill soap, paper towels, and toilet paper dispensers.
  • Dust and sanitize countertops, vending machines, and chairs.
  • Pick up debris, empty ashtrays, and remove trash to outside dumpsters.
  • Replace plastic trash can liners and light bulbs as needed.
  • Assist with landscaping tasks, such as mowing and raking lawns, as requested by management.
  • Shovel snow from around entrances and exits, and apply ice melt as needed.
  • Perform painting and minor building repairs as requested by management.
  • Follow safe usage directions on all cleaning products and chemicals used in the course of the job.
  • Communicate with management regarding cleaning problems and supply needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred, but not required.
  • Previous cleaning or janitorial experience, and the physical ability to perform job duties.
