The US Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Events team as an intern. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, coordination, and execution.

As an Event Operations Intern, you will assist in planning and coordinating events, manage logistics and vendor relations, support event material development, handle attendee communications, and collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless event execution.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and creative writing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with event planning software and tools is a plus.

This internship is a great opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to the success of the Chamber's events team. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for event planning, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating events, including logistics, scheduling, and vendor management.
  • Support the development and distribution of event materials, such as invitations, agendas, and promotional content.
  • Coordinate event registration and manage attendee communications.
  • Help with on-site event setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Maintain event databases and track key metrics for reporting purposes.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and creative writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with event planning software and tools is a plus.
