Substation Civil Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in designing and developing high-voltage utility substation projects. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and designing civil and structural components of substation projects, working closely with other electric utility disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop civil and structural components of substation projects, including site development, foundation design, and structural systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
  • Perform site visits to client substation facilities and participate in client meetings and industry-related events.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in design software, including STAAD.Pro, FAD, SAFE, SAG10, and LPile.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil-Structural Engineering or related field.
  • EIT certification preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Mathcad software.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, and Civil 3D software.
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
