Position Overview

The Inventory Counter role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of stock levels within a leading global flavors and fragrances organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Validate raw materials and finished goods inventory through Continuous Inventory and Cycle Counting methodologies.
- Analyze material movements and usage, processing necessary adjustments to rectify discrepancies.
- Address missing inventory issues promptly and efficiently.
- Manage COGIs, implement changes, and resolve backflushing discrepancies.
- Provide insights on the causes of discrepancies to uphold Best Inventory Practices.
- Segregate rejected, obsolete, or slow-moving materials as per business recommendations.

Essential Skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong understanding of basic mathematical principles.
- Analytical capabilities to assess inventory discrepancies and propose solutions.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.
- Competence in operating fork and drum lifts, pallet movers, and scales.
- Physical capability to push or pull weights up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory management.
- Familiarity with receiving, production, shipping, and inventory protocols.
- Knowledge of SAP systems is advantageous.

Note: Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and verbal communication, is required for this position.
