About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Therapist to join our team at WEAVE Inc. As a Residential Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing trauma-informed services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and therapeutic individual and group counseling services to children, youth, and adults at selected WEAVE counseling sites.
  • Collaborate with the Counseling Services Manager to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop strategies for intervention and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless referrals and services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in trauma-informed care and counseling.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work.
  • Current licensure as a therapist or counselor, or eligibility for licensure in the state of California.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in providing counseling services, preferably in a trauma-informed setting.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual respect.
