Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team at Systems Integration Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, system integration, and IT services.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage cloud systems, applications, network operations, policies, and strategy.
- Define technical direction and roadmap for cloud migrations, including transition plans, technical solutions, implementation, operational enhancements, and adaptation of cloud processes.
- Maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology, advising on leading cloud practices and architectural approaches.
- Develop and modify scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure on cloud service platforms.
- Identify and evaluate the best cloud solutions for the organization, creating a well-informed cloud strategy and managing the adaptation process.
- Incorporate security management and privacy requirements into cloud hardware, software, and applications, designing controls and processes that utilize available audit tools.
- Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) life cycle steps to achieve system authorization and operation, providing support to cybersecurity assessment and authorization (A&A) processes to gain system authorization to operate (ATO).
- Engage with technical stakeholders and other third parties to interpret technical requirements, standards/policies, architectural artifacts, implementation, budget development, program briefs, and status tracking.
Qualifications:
- Current active secret clearance.
- Active and relevant industry certification examples: CompTIA Cloud+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, etc.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- IAT II Certification examples: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field with a minimum of 6 years' experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical topics for senior decision-makers, preparing and delivering presentations to leadership.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and web-based applications.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and application integration, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS solutions, and Agile software development.
