About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Therapist to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a Child Development Therapist, you will work closely with children with Autism, using your expertise to help them develop essential social skills, communication skills, and manage repetitive or restrictive behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children with Autism, providing support and guidance to help them develop essential social skills, communication skills, and manage repetitive or restrictive behaviors
  • Collaborate with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to develop and implement behavior change plans
  • Document child progress and milestones, ensuring accurate records are maintained

Requirements

  • Must have Active RBT certification on BACB website
  • Minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
