Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment, including motor graders, to maintain gravel roads and perform various tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and projects.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as reporting and recording data, to support departmental requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience operating heavy equipment, including motor graders.
- Valid Colorado Class A CDL license with tanker endorsement required or ability to acquire within a specified time frame.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and respond to official inquiries.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to report and record data as required.
- Advanced level of gravel road maintenance experience.
- Valid Colorado Class A CDL license with tanker endorsement.

- Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds, occasionally move and/or pull 50 plus pounds up to 92 pounds.
- Occasionally lift from ground to waist up to 196 pounds.
- Regularly stand, walk, climb, squat, crawl, stoop, kneel, carry, and reach overhead.

- Regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions.
