Position Overview:
The Cleaning Operations Supervisor is tasked with providing leadership, motivation, and support to a dedicated team of cleaning professionals.
Job Type:
Full-time Night Shift at $17.00/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducts thorough quality assurance inspections within designated areas.
2. Ensures that quality and satisfaction metrics consistently meet or surpass expectations.
3. Guarantees the highest level of customer satisfaction.
4. Aids in the training and development of team members.
5. Offers guidance on safety protocols, cleaning methodologies, and chemical usage to the cleaning team.
6. Addresses crew members regarding attendance, performance, and other work-related issues, adhering to proper documentation procedures.
7. Leads and collaborates with the team to ensure successful task completion.
8. Takes charge of shift operations in the absence of the Supervisor.
9. When the Supervisor is present, may oversee smaller groups of workers.
10. Assists the Supervisor and Shift Manager in directing and supervising field staff.
Communication and Compliance:
Establishes and maintains effective communication and relationships with passengers, colleagues, shift coordinators, supervisors, and management.
Adheres to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set forth by the Company, Clients, and regulatory bodies.
Leadership Duties:
1. Provides direction and support to team members.
2. Facilitates open communication between field staff and management.
3. Engages in positive coaching practices with team members.
4. Assists in training housekeeping personnel and organizing work schedules.
5. Aids in the development of daily and weekly work schedules.
6. Oversees and executes cleaning operations within assigned facilities.
7. Manages keys and access cards for the property.
8. Reports any damaged or malfunctioning items.
9. Ensures premises are secured at all times.
10. Oversees additional service requests within assigned locations.
11. Collaborates with the Area Manager to schedule jobs with the Property Manager and cleaning crew.
12. Coordinates the scheduling of the cleaning team.
13. Monitors job quality and confirms completion with the Area Manager.
14. Provides training for all new hires assigned to the location.
15. Participates in all relevant meetings and training sessions.
Administrative Responsibilities:
1. Completes and validates time sheets, ensuring accuracy before submission.
2. Conducts weekly checks on supplies, equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
3. Accurately fills out order forms.
4. Coordinates the use and inventory of equipment.
5. Performs all tasks and responsibilities required of the team.
6. Undertakes miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must fulfill all requirements to obtain necessary airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including a ten-year work history if available.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Customer Service.
1 year of relevant work experience.
