About the Role

The Oncology Nurse Navigator plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive comprehensive care and support throughout their cancer journey. This position is an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, dedicated to providing personalized guidance and coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and management
  • Assist with navigation through the healthcare system, addressing physical, emotional, and financial needs
  • Facilitate communication among healthcare providers, patients, and family members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Current Oregon RN license
  • AHA BLS certification upon hire
  • Oncology experience (3 years minimum)
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification within 18 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in case management or clinical trials
