Job Title: Senior Demand Planning Analyst

At Posh Peanut, we're passionate about creating fashion-forward children's clothing and accessories. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planning Analyst to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Demand Planning Analyst will play a critical role in supporting our DTC, Wholesale, and Amazon channels. This individual will own the planning of one or more departments, with the goal of maximizing sales and profit while optimizing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage Pre-Season and In-Season merchandise plans, analyzing key selling metrics to understand brand performance and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Use sales and SKU productivity insights to create ATS inventory and buy targets that support turn and product lifecycle goals.
  • Own SKU-level replenishment plans and create regular buys based on sales trends and company strategies.
  • Determine sell-down strategies and pricing messages to achieve the best combination of sales, margin, and inventory ownership.
  • Optimize inventory efficiency by assessing transfer needs and quantifying opportunities between channels to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Partner with management, Buying/Merchandising, and Amazon and Wholesale teams to propose strategies and tactical needs aligning with business goals.
  • Create financial models, reports, and recaps as needed to aid cross-functional team discussions.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of planning experience within a branded, e-commerce DTC environment.
  • Experience in apparel/accessories, with high-end experience preferred.
  • Experience with Amazon and Wholesale planning highly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to look at the business from both a top-down and bottom-up view, with a strong sense of curiosity.
  • Results-oriented self-starter with a hands-on and entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven strong analytical acumen, with the ability to identify and resolve business performance issues within forecasting and planning models.
