Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a Special Education school in Piqua, OH. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students with Autism, providing support with their language and social skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Determine eligibility for speech services and work with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate goals.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for children with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all children on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of children's progress to parents.
  • Organize caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders.
  • Ohio SLP license.
  • Certificate of clearance from the Ohio Department of Education.
