Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Deer Creek School District.

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech and Language Pathology and current ASHA certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students with speech and language impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and clinics
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication needs
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech and Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA certification
  • Current OK State license for the Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Practices Board
Working Conditions:

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a variety of settings, including classrooms and clinics. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have adequate vision and hearing ability for monitoring children's verbal and non-verbal responses.
