Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in identifying, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students, utilizing standardized tests and assessments to inform treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, providing direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' communication skills, participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of student goals and objectives.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress, providing regular updates to parents and educators.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology, participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution, valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology, and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience and Skills: Preferably, experience working in a school environment, excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills, and ability to work with diverse populations.
