About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Tandym Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and reassessments of students' functional, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems to support student progress.
  • Analyze data to inform treatment approaches and improve behavioral outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement behavior support plans.
  • Provide flexible clinical services, including after-hours and weekend availability.
Requirements
  • New York State License or license eligible, in good professional standing.
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work.
  • At least 2-5 years' experience in conducting mental health/behavioral assessments, evaluations, and interventions.
  • Desired skills: experience working with students with developmental disabilities or on the autistic spectrum, school experience a plus.
