About the Role

KurzSolutions is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing, administering, and managing radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to quality management protocols.
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and well counters, to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Analyze procedure images for quality and obtain additional images as needed.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients with strict adherence to quality management methods for patient identification.
  • Perform radionuclide therapy under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, including receiving and assaying prescribed therapeutic doses.
  • Prepare studies for interpretation by Nuclear Medicine Physicians, ensuring completeness of all forms and recording relevant data.
  • Schedule patient procedures considering various factors such as camera availability, patient condition, urgency, and other appointments.
Requirements
  • Certification: Must be board-certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Education: Must have completion of an NMTCB-recognized nuclear medicine technology program, or completion of a nuclear medicine technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT).
  • Experience: Must have one year minimum of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
