About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Children's Minnesota. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to aseptic technique.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures, anticipating and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Surgical Technologist certification preferred but not required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
