We are seeking a dedicated Deli Clerk to join our esteemed gourmet deli and grocery establishment. This role involves working in a vibrant environment where customer satisfaction is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service; engaging with customers is essential.
  • Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare and serve food items, including grilling and slicing.
  • Assist in inventory management, ensuring shelves are stocked appropriately.
  • Conduct end-of-day cleaning and preparation tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a few years of experience in a deli, grocery, or food retail setting.
  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food handling certification is a plus.
  • Experience with coffee and espresso machines is advantageous, but training will be provided.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation:
Hourly wage of $18 plus tips.
