Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor

AbbVie is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising and training operating personnel in the production of clinical or commercial products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production schedules and priorities to ensure timely completion of production-related tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch records and cGMP documentation.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to ensure effective use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM) standard and EPA's Risk Management Planning (RMP) rule.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing or production processes, with a strong background in supervision and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs is required.
