Job OverviewPosition Title: Production Machine Operator (3rd Shift)
Location: Waco, TX
Shift Hours: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Compensation: $13.75 per hour, increasing to $15.75/hr upon permanent hire
Reporting To: Production Supervisor

Position Summary: We are in search of a dependable and hardworking Production Machine Operator for the 3rd shift. The successful candidate will be tasked with the operation and upkeep of production machinery, transforming raw materials such as cotton and fibers into finished goods. This role is vital for maintaining the efficiency and smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and oversee production machinery following established operating procedures.
  • Load raw materials into machines and manage the production workflow.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure peak performance.
  • Examine finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and address minor mechanical issues to reduce downtime.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to foster a secure working environment.
  • Document and report production metrics, including output, quality control findings, and machine efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required to support overall production activities.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Physical endurance and capability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work 3rd shift hours.
