Job Summary

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective handling of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and managing a team of warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement efficient work-flows to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders accurately and on time.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and coaching as needed.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, establish work schedules, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain product integrity and minimize damage during handling and storage.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and inventory to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance to management.
  • Develop and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels, reorder points, and replenishment strategies.
  • Coordinate with procurement and purchasing teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory to meet demand.
  • Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce carrying costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or similar role, with a track record of successful leadership and operations management.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing parts and components preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management principles, and logistics operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Forklift certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations (preferred).
