Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at NBCUniversal. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in assisting attorneys with review of marketing and advertising collateral, ensuring compliance with trademarks, rights of privacy/rights of publicity, intellectual property license agreements, and corporate guidelines.

Responsibilities include reviewing scripts and storyboards for social media, radio, and television commercials, as well as drafting correspondence, tracking deadlines, and maintaining contract files. You will also assist in monitoring compliance with company-wide policies and initiatives related to customer data, privacy, and security.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 to 7 years of in-house experience with a general focus on marketing/advertising, intellectual property, and internet-related/privacy matters, preferably in the entertainment industry.
  • Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience specifically related to marketing/advertising through digital marketing and social media is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Team player with a strong orientation toward collaborative, results-oriented environment.
  • High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and judgment in order to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Resourceful and a strong work ethic.

Salary range: $66,560 - $80,000
