Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team at Camaco Columbus Manufacturing in Columbus, Nebraska. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical controls systems for our plant floor operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to plant operations to ensure Corporate and plant specification goals are met.
  • Plan and implement all controls-related activities, including the installation of new and rebuilt equipment.
  • Develop and maintain electrical controls systems to improve reliability and technology.
  • Maintain communication with work groups to ensure proper implementation of projects.
  • Responsible for IATF16949 documentation requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Technical certification with PLC or CNC Controls preferred.
  • Experience with LabView is a plus.
  • 3+ years of work experience in Controls Engineering with plant floor experience.
  • Experience in automotive seating.

Work Environment

This position requires regular work in an office setting and on the plant floor. The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
