Job Overview

SHL Medical is a leading provider of advanced drug delivery systems, with a global presence and a commitment to innovation. As a Senior Production Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing system and equipment reliability, providing technical support for daily injection molding operations, and driving performance improvements in molding processes and production assets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Reliability Enhancement: Focus on people, process, equipment, and standards to improve system and equipment reliability.
  • Technical Support: Provide daily technical support for injection molding operations and develop Tool and Process Maintenance Technicians.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and support system and equipment reliability improvement projects, drive performance improvements in molding processes and production assets.
  • Process Optimization: Use established process improvement systems to optimize molding processes and production assets.
  • Event Response: Participate in event response activities and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintenance Procedures: Maintain and improve maintenance procedures and standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Support technical documentation, including RCA, continuous improvement, CAPA, and change control.
  • MTTR and MTBF Improvement: Improve Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) by optimizing maintenance standards, plans, and culture.
  • Liaison with OEMs: Act as liaison with OEMs for parts complaints and ASL agreements, reducing maintenance costs.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: BS in Engineering/related field or Equivalent (experience + education).
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in Maintenance, Production, or Process Improvement, or related field.
  • Expertise: Expertise in 2 or more of the following: injection molding, mold design and maintenance, production management, process improvement, RCA.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
