About the Role

Sares Regis Operating Company, L.P. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Alexan Downtown Danville. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our 144-unit community, ensuring that our residents enjoy a comfortable and safe living environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff and outside contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Direct and oversee apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and ground maintenance.
  • Obtain bids from outside contractors, assemble and analyze bids, and submit them to superiors for approval.
  • Order and receive supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors, and coordinate work performed by outside vendors.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to determine the need and extent of service, equipment required, and type.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and increase efficiency of work crews.
  • Assist the Property Manager in planning and administering the maintenance budget.
  • Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor on 100+ units.
  • Prefer experience with Yardi.
  • Experience in all trades.
  • Excellent written, communication, and computer skills.
  • Past supervisory experience required.
  • Current driver's license and auto insurance required.
  • Able to work weekends and overtime as job requires.
