Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Engineer to join our team at Sandbox Testing Account. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional audio experiences for our events and productions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load-in and load-out of audio equipment and rental gear
  • Cabling and patching for optimal audio performance
  • Audio adjustments and monitoring to ensure safe and professional sound levels
  • Operation of audio control boards and consoles
  • Collaboration with visiting audio technicians and production crews
  • Overseeing and maintaining the operation of house audio systems
  • Assisting with production and technical aspects of events
  • Ensuring the proper care and handling of audio equipment
  • Interacting with production crews and stakeholders to ensure successful events
  • Distributing and creating audio plans for concerts, events, and conferences
  • Overseeing and operating audio systems throughout the venue
  • Ensuring audio needs are scheduled and met for events
  • Maintaining and repairing sound equipment
  • Attending production meetings and sound checks
  • Collaborating with other sound personnel as needed
  • Maintaining a clean and organized working environment
  • Communicating updates and issues to stakeholders
  • Assisting in emergency procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; extensive related work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an A2 or similar
  • Demonstrated solid knowledge of analog/digital signal flow and ability to assist A1 with system troubleshooting
  • Understanding of radio frequency and coordination with wireless microphone and IEM systems
  • Knowledge of how to "ring out" a monitor wedge
  • Understanding of monitor workflow and ability to operate multiple mixes simultaneously
  • Possession of working familiarity with the Midas Heritage D audio desk
  • Working knowledge and skill using Microsoft Office Suite applications, digital console controls, Avid Pro Tools, and Waves Tracks Live

This job is active in nature. Must be able to stand for long periods while performing various duties. Moderate to heavy lifting (25 - 100 pounds) required.

Specific hearing and vision abilities required by this job; Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level, extreme lighting changes, strobes & moving lights; Able to wear a radio earpiece during the scheduled shift.
