Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our hospital cafeteria operations, Starbucks, doctor lounges, and catering services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and supervising special functions, maintaining cash controls, payroll records, and coordinating the hiring and training of hourly associates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and supervise special functions such as events and catering services.
  • Maintain accurate cash controls, payroll records, and coordinate the hiring and training of hourly associates.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience and good public relations through efficient use of resources.
  • Advise staff on scheduled retail services in accordance with company policies and presentation standards.
  • Train staff in customer service, accurate portioning, cashier skills, and safety/sanitation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • One to three years of retail dining operational foodservice management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in a hospital, senior living, or related healthcare operation.
  • Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing, and presentation.
  • P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
  • Experience with cash retail operations and financial management.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact with various levels including management, customers, associates, and clients.
