Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is a vital member of the Highgate team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms. As a key contributor to our hotel's success, you will be expected to maintain the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to all guests, responding promptly to their needs and requests.
  • Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms according to Highgate's standards, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
  • Restock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, linens, and other essentials.
  • Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms and hallways, and ensure that all areas are clean and tidy.
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
  • Handle lost and found items according to Highgate's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move around the hotel as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
