In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Protecting our computer systems and networks from cyber threats;
  • Developing and implementing IT security policies and procedures;
  • Providing training and awareness programs to employees on IT security best practices;
  • Collaborating with other teams to identify and mitigate security risks;
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT security.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service;
  • Experience that demonstrates accomplishment of computer project assignments that required a wide range of knowledge of computer requirements and techniques pertinent to the position to be filled;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity.
