Job Summary
As a Financial Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing global statutory audits. You will work closely with our management team to understand and advise on internal controls, ensuring compliance with accepted accounting practices. Your expertise will be essential in providing management financial accountancy services and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit service delivery: You will be responsible for a group of countries/entities assigned for audit service delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality audit deliverables.
- COE focus and strategic initiatives: You will manage multiple audits across the globe, acting as a Service Champion in shaping up CoE level strategic initiatives like Centralization/Innovation.
Requirements
- Knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS and international auditing standards
- Understanding of accounting differences between GAAPs and ability to design a process to track and reconcile differences
- Prior experience in audit and proven experience in audit service delivery
- High level of professionalism, independence, and confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
- Effective communication skills to interface well with management and auditors across the globe
- Experience with international tax structures and translation of these structures to financial statements (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of Secretarial practice related to Companies returns filings, Direct and Indirect
Education
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting
- Experience with Big 4/leading Audit firms or their shared service center and exposure to MNC audits (preferred)
- Preferably to have Oracle ERP environment experience
