Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Coding Auditor to join our team at The Center for Orthopedic and Research Excellence. As a Clinical Coding Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of clinical documentation in our medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate the accuracy of clinical coding and documentation.
  • Identify training needs and provide education to staff on coding and documentation best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive clinical coding audit program.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, managers, and administration to ensure compliance with coding and documentation guidelines.
  • Report findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements:

  • Accredited Clinical Coder Certification.
  • Experience in coding within a medical practice, preferably in orthopedics.
  • Audit experience in coding, preferably with a focus on clinical documentation.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
