We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty Psychologist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As an Adjunct Faculty Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing a quality academic experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of psychology courses, including introductory psychology, abnormal psychology, and research methods.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that foster student learning and stimulate class discussion.
  • Assess student coursework and provide timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field, or Bachelor's plus equivalent work experience.
  • At least two (2) years of field experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate a mature personal faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Interpersonal skills that facilitate relationship building and teamwork among colleagues and students.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to students in oral and written form.
  • Proficiency in using computers, internet resources, MS Office, and Learning Management software.
  • Oral and written comprehension.

  • Speech clarity.
  • Ability to advise, instruct, manage, and motivate students for excellence in their academic pursuits.
  • Ability to effectively work with students, faculty, and support staff in a professional manner.
