German Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach German language courses at Ivy Tech Community College. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in German language and literature, as well as excellent teaching and communication skills.

• Teach German language courses to students at various skill levels
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and achievement
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit grades in a timely manner

• Mastery of German language and literature, with a strong background in teaching and communication
• Master's degree or higher in German language or literature, or a related field
• Experience teaching German language courses at the secondary or post-secondary level
• Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators
