Position Overview:
The Human Resources Assistant plays a crucial role in providing administrative support for payroll and various human resource initiatives within Kuhn North America, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Payroll Processing:** Execute bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees in the US and Canada, ensuring timely and precise compensation in line with company policies.
2. **Documentation Management:** Organize and maintain confidential personnel files, ensuring all necessary employee documentation is accurately filed and forwarded to relevant agencies.
3. **HRIS Maintenance:** Oversee the human resource information system (HRIS) records, generating reports as needed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
4. **Employee Benefits Administration:** Assist in managing employee benefit programs, including enrollment and changes, while preparing COBRA notifications for eligible participants.
5. **Customer Service:** Provide support to employees and the public regarding personnel information and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
6. **Event Coordination:** Aid in organizing employee events and activities, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
7. **Confidential Correspondence:** Monitor and manage the HR email and fax mailbox, ensuring timely forwarding of sensitive communications to appropriate personnel.
8. **Documentation Preparation:** Create and edit various written documents, including meeting minutes, memos, and reports, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
9. **Process Improvement:** Engage in the company’s initiatives to enhance HR processes and strive for operational excellence.

Qualifications:
- Preferred education or experience in payroll and human resource administrative support.
- Proficient in ADP HRIS/Payroll software, word processing, spreadsheet applications, and email communication.
